GPMID is a dynamically linked library that enables you to work on Guitar Pro files. Most notably, the tool is able to convert Guitar Pro files to MIDI streams that can be easily played with most multimedia players.

Please note that Guitar Pro files support is only partial and that at the moment only files created with Guitar Pro 4.00 or Guitar Pro 4.06 are supported. Moreover, not every feature of Guitar Pro is supported yet and the library may behave oddly with some files.

GPMID is freeware, see the COPYING file for further details about the license.

The software is available for both the Windows and the Linux platform. The distribution includes the following files:

^* Unless you are a developer who intends to link against the GPMID library in your own application, you will not need those files.
